Pyramid of Arts runs arts groups for people with and without learning disabilities throughout Leeds. Our groups come together to make large-scale sculptures, paintings and installations with professional artists. They also make music together and explore movement, dance and drama. Most of all, they allow people with and without disabilities to share their interest in the arts, make friends and have fun.

Wow - a huge thank you to all the parishioners at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Yeadon who raised an amazing £750 for the Pyramid Youth Group. Special thanks to Liam Hirst for telling the church all about us. Here he is receiving the cheque:
Meanwhile, the Eden group have been busy with their animal sculpture project, visiting Hargreaves Foundry in Halifax to see the finished animals cast in iron. Many thanks to staff at the foundry for having us!
Funding News
Sound Beams
We are indebted to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal for awarding us £3,558 to purchase our own Sound Beam equipment. We have previously used hired Sound Beams for exhibits such as the Light Maze at Light Night Leeds 2009 and most recently for SoundQuest, part of the Breeze International Youth Festival 2011.
Our Creative Director, Julia, says "it's going to make a big difference to lots of different people. It can help them to move, communicate and make their own sounds."
The Animal Bridge
We are delighted to announce that we have received £9000 from Grants for the Arts towards our Animal Bridge project. The Eden Group have been working on the design stage (see picture below) and this funding will go towards creating and installing the full size sculpture at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm.
